Medeama SC defender Vincent Atinga says that Hearts of Oak's Daniel Afriyie Barnieh is the player who has caused him a lot of trouble in the just ended 2021/2022 season.

He says that the Hearts forward gave him a lot of tough time with his trickery and pace when the two sides met in the Ghana Premier League this season.

Atingah made this revelation in an interview with Abusua FM' Nana Kwame Kissi.

"Daniel Afriyie Barnieh of Hearts of Oak is the player that gave me tough time in the league. He's very good and created a lot of problems for me."

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored ten goals in all competitions and was handed an invitation to the Black Stars.

Atingah has been very instrumental for the mauve and yellows since joining them in the March 2021 for the second round of the Ghana Premier League.

He played 14 matches for the team and scored  two goals all from the spot for his side in the 2020/2021 season

The former Hearts of Oak defender was a member of the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations winning squad under coach Maxwell Konadu.

Atinga departed Hearts to Albanian side KF Tirana on a free transfer in July 2018 before later joining Qadsia SC and Al Shabab in Kuwait.

He has played 28 matches in the Ghana Premier League this season and scored 6 goals mostly from the spot.
