Interim Hearts of Oak coach Yaw Preko has congratulated Inusah Musah, on his debut Black Stars call-up ahead of Friday’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Uganda in Tamale.

Black Stars coach Avram Grant, named his squad to face the Cranes of Uganda on Saturday October 1, with Inusah Musah of Hearts of Oak and Emmanuel Ocran of Wa All Stars invited to train with the Black Stars and observed by the head coach.

Speaking in an interview with Class Sports on Monday Oct 3, the former Hearts of Oak and Black Stars winger Yaw Preko,popularly known as Ian Rush, was excited to see his dependable defender called to serve his nation.

“We are all happy for him, it’s a big brand to his career. We hope he goes in and performs well. We wish to congratulate him. It is good for local players and I am happy he has been called into the national team.” Preko said.

Inusah Musah missed the first round of the Ghana Premier league season through injury but recovered in the second round and won 5 Most valuable player (MVP) awards.
