Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul Manaf Umar is close to joining newly promoted side Bibiani Gold Stars according to multiple reports.

The midfielder who played a bit part role last season in the run up to the side winning the League and FA Cup double is surplus to requirements at Hearts and will head on loan.

Gold Stars are said to be in advanced talks to take the Hearts midfielder on a temporary deal ahead of the start of next season.

Hearts have bolstered their ranks with Benjamin Yorke, Gladson Awako, Suraj Adams among other players pushing Manaf Umar further down the pecking order.

Gold Stars have appointed former Kotoko gaffer Michael Osei as their new coach and a re intent on building a team capable of staying in the league.

He takes over the team months after promotion expert Kobina Amissah helped the team reach a historic Premier League berth.
