Two players of Accra Hearts of Oak have been called to the Black Stars, as the country prepares for a double World Cup qualifiers next month.

Goal keeper Richard Attah and attacker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh are the latest inclusion in coach CK Akunnor's provisional 30-man squad for  a clash against Ethiopia and  South Africa as Ghana seeks a chance in the 2022 World Cup.

The two were very instrumental in Hearts achievement in the 2020/21 season where the team won the treble.

Unlike Attah who is returning to the squad for the second time, Afriyie Barnieh is only grabbing his maiden call up into the Senior National Team.

Barnieh led Ghana's Under 20 to win the ultimate in both the Wafu and AFCON U20 tournaments.

He has was also the highest goal scorer in the MTN FA Cup.

The Black Stars will play host to Ethiopia at the Cape Coast Stadium on Friday, September 3 before they travel to South Africa for the second game on Monday, September 6, 2021.
