Dr. Delali Anku-Adiamah, the Managing Director of Hearts of Oak, has voiced his frustrations regarding the team's situation of playing their home games away from the Accra Sports Stadium.

Since December 2023, the Phobians have been compelled to play their home matches at neutral venues due to the unavailability of the Accra Sports Stadium.

This change came after the stadium was rented out for musical concerts by the then National Sports Authority (NSA) boss, Prof. Peter Twumasi.

In an interview with Accra-based Happy FM, Mr. Anku-Adiamah expressed his disappointment with the situation, stating that playing home games away from their traditional venue is far from ideal.

He acknowledged the challenges but also shared the club's plans to address the issue by constructing their stadium. "It’s not ideal, but we will manage until the stadium becomes available while we are planning on getting ours," he affirmed.

Despite the hurdles, Hearts of Oak continues to persevere, with their upcoming Matchday 20 fixture against Bofoakwa Tano scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, with kick-off set for 15:00 GMT.
