Accra Hearts of Oak continued their winning streak in the second round of the league as they staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Nsoatreman FC 2-1 at the Nana Koramansah Park on Sunday.

After a convincing 3-0 victory over Real Tamale United in the previous weekend, the Phobians displayed their resilience once again, clinching another important win.

Nsoatreman FC took the lead with Walid Fuseini's goal in the 23rd minute. However, Hearts of Oak swiftly responded, with Salifu Ibrahim scoring a deflected goal in the 47th minute to level the score.

The momentum shifted in favor of the Phobians just two minutes into the second half when Cisse Kasim found the back of the net, giving Hearts of Oak a 2-1 lead.

Despite Nsoatreman FC's attempts to equalize, Hearts of Oak stood firm defensively, denying their opponents any clear opportunities.

With this victory, Hearts of Oak secured their second consecutive win under the guidance of new coach Aboubakar Ouattara, propelling them to seventh place in the league standings.
