Accra Hearts of Oak will not allow the Black Meteors travel with two of their key players for their two friendly matches in Asia.

The club have decided to keep influential Salifu Ibrahim and the pacy Daniel Afriyie Barnieh in their quest to win the Premier League title.

Accra Hearts of Oak are currently top of the Ghana Premier League table with two points adrift of fierce rivals Asante Kotoko.

Hearts who are in pole position to win the league with just seven matches to end the season would not allow anyone to derail their quest to end the league title drought especially as the match will happen whiles the league is ongoing.

It has been 12 years since the phobians last won the Ghana Premier League title under Serbian trainer Kosta Papic.

Aside keeping the two players, the Accra based club have agreed to allow goalkeeper Richmond Ayi make the trip to Japan and South Korea.

Ghana will play against South Korea on 12th June at 7pm Korean time while the second leg will come off on the 15th June at 8pm Korean time.

Before the South Korea match, the Black Meteors will face Japan in an International friendly that will be played on June 4 and 8 in Tokyo.

Both matches will come off at the Jeju World Cup Stadium Seogwipo, Jeju Island.

Coach Paa Kwasi Fabin has already named a 27 man squad for the game and they will begin camping later in the month as they begin preparation for their two friendly matches with Japan and South Korea.
