Hearts of  Oak's physical trainer, W.O Paul Tandoh has been handed a one game ban by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association(GFA) for verbally abusing  a referee in the Ghana Premier League game against WAFA.

The former military officer was found culpable of using foul language on referee Philip Arthur Forson  during the said match.

Tandoh also refused to leave the inner perimeter when he was ordered to do so after throwing the tirade.

In his defence to the charge leveled against him, WO Tandoh denied ever abusing the center referee and averred that he was  complaining  about the referee's decision to show their player a red card.

He also rejected claims that he refused to leave the inner perimeter, stating that he was only “walking over to the Goalkeeper’s trainer to hand over his records book.”

After reviewing the footage, however, the Ghana Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee found Tandoh guilty and handed him a one-match ban.

He has also been fined GHS2,000.
