General Manager for Accra Great Olympics, Oluboi Commodore has rubbished the protest filed by their city neighbours Accra Great Olympics after their natch day 28 clash.

City neighbours Accra Hearts of Oak have filed a protest against Great Olympics after their 1-1 drawn game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The phobians have reportedly lodged a protest against their player Joshua Kwame Rhule who wore jersey number 39 on the day.

According to the details of the protest available to us, the said player played for a club in Benin in 2019 but used a different name while in Benin.

The Olympics player was said to be using the name Koomson Biney but when he registered with Great Olympics he used the name Joshau Kwame Rhule.

Reacting to the protest in an intervoew on Sikka FM, the Olympics chief rubbished the protest saying it has no basis and should be treated with the contempt it deserves.

“Anytime l hear people talking about it l laugh because the particular player in question is legible and qualified, fully registered so l don’t know where Hearts of Oak are coming from those allegations” he said.
