Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Ibrahim Salifu has been adjudged the NASCO player of the year 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

The Hearts of Oak playmaker beat off stiff competition from WAFA's Augustine Boakye and Olympics' Gladson Awako, former teammate Benjamin Afutu Kottey and Karela's Diawise Taylor to win the prestige award.

The 21-year-old midfielder finished the campaign with 8 NASCO MVP Awards, 8 assists, 3 goals out 33 league matches this season.

Salifu Ibrahim joined Accra Hearts of Oak from Techiman Eleven Wonders during the second transfer window and has since been a revelation.

He was Phenomenal for Eleven Wonders before his all his urgent arrival at the camp of the Rainbows.

He helped the phobians win the Ghana Premier League title and also the MTN FA Cup to set up a historic cup double.
