Former Hearts of Oak striker, Kofi Kordzi has called for the trigger happy culture at his former club to stop as it does not help.

He says coaches should be given ample time to work with their teams and not sacked mid season when things do not go well.

“Changing of coaches during the course of the season doesn’t really help because if you study the big clubs in Europe they mostly leave the team for the coach to work until the season ends” Kordzi said in an interview with FootballMadeInGhana.
Accra Hearts of Oak started the season with Edward Nii Odoom before he was replaced by Serbian trainer Kostadin Papic who left his role and was replaced U-15 coach Nii Noi Thompson.

Before former Medeama coach Samuel Boadu took over the reigns of the Hearts job at the start of the second half.

“In Ghana there is always a call for a coach to be sacked when things get difficult and that also accounts for the inconsistency of players in the local league” Kordzi lamented.

”So I will plead with Hearts to exercise patience with their coaches and allow them to work for at least one full season before deciding” he concluded.
