Accra Hearts of Oak has rubbished reports linking talisman Ibrahim Salifu to Belgians Royal Antwerp, threateningly legal action against some media houses over their continuous publishing of concocted stories.

It comes after some sections of the media reported that the Belgian Jupila league side have tabled a 60000 dollar offer for Salifu, who joined the Phobians in last season's second transfer window.

A statement issued by the club, urged the media to "double check any information" before they go public.

"We are by this serving a warning to all that as an organisation, we reserve all the right to take legal action against any individual and establishment that concoct stories brothering the club to serve as deterrent to others," said the statement signed by the Club's PRO Kwame Opare Addo.

The Phobians after winning the treble in are preparing for the 2021/22 CAF Champions League, a competition they last participated in 12 years back.

They are slated for their first clash in Guinea next month against Club Industriel de Kamsa.
