Hereford FC have strengthened their squad ahead of the new season with the signing of experienced English-Ghanaian defender Keenan Quansah.

Quansah joins the Bulls from National League North side Southport FC, where he became a standout figure over the past three years.

Renowned for his composure, aerial strength, and uncompromising defending, he quickly established himself as a fan favourite at Southport, racking up 45 appearances in his debut season.

Having previously turned out for Stalybridge Celtic and starting his career at Accrington Stanley, Quansah has built a solid reputation across non-league football in the North West.

His arrival at Edgar Street brings not just defensive stability but also valuable leadership qualities to a Hereford side aiming to push further up the table.

Quansah, notably the elder brother of Liverpool FC defender Jarell Quansah, is expected to play a key role in shaping Hereford’s backline.

His signing signals the club’s intent to bring experience and resilience into their ranks as they prepare for a competitive campaign ahead.
