Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, Member of Parliament for Ellembelle constituency in the Western Region has refuted reports that he would be contesting in the NDC's 2024 presidential primaries.

It comes after reports went viral that he is the biggest challenge to former president John Mahama in the party's flag bearer race.

The former president has not declared intention to contest for another presidential bid but Hon Armah-Kofi Buah, who served as Minister of Energy and Petroleum under Mahama says he has not intention to go into any presidential contest.

In a press statement copied to Ghanaguardian.com, Him Armah-Kofi Buah described the report as “false, baseless and a figment of the author’s own fertile imagination.”

He entreat Ghanaians to disregard and treat such false publications with the contempt it deserves.

According to him, he has no intention of contesting in the 2024 NDC Presidential primaries, neither is he a part of any group or scheme planning to oppose the Candidature of Former President John Dramani Mahama.
