The price and data war in the telecom industry is still on as telecom operators are busy introducing new plans. Now country's leading service provider Airtel has rolled out a plan for its prepaid users. The company has introduced a plan of Rs 398 in which it is giving 105GB of data benefit.

Under the Rs 398 plan, the telecom operator will offer unlimited local and STD calling with no daily FUP limit. Users also get 100 SMS per day with 1.5GB data. The plan comes with the validity of 70 days.

Apart from this, Airtel also offers another prepaid plan of Rs 399. This plan will compete against the newly launched Rs 398 plan of the company. Under Rs 399, Airtel offer 1GB data and 100 SMS per day. Users also get the facility of unlimited national and local calling as part of the plan. The major difference between the two plans is of validity. The Rs 399 plan is valid for the period of 84 days which is 14 days more as compared to the Rs 398 plan.

The Rs 398 plan from Airtel will compete against the Rs 398 plan of Reliance Jio. The Mukesh Ambani-owned telecom operator offers unlimited local and national calling with no FUP limit and 100 SMS per day under Rs 398 plan. Along with this, Reliance Jio subscribers also get 2GB data under the plan. The Rs 398 plan from Jio comes with the validity of 70 days and users also get complimentary access to the Jio Suite apps which include JioTV, JioCinema and others.

Looking at the comparison of both the plans, Reliance Jio offers a better deal as its plan give more data at the same price.
