Kwesi Pratt Jnr, the Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, has expressed deep frustration and disbelief over the ongoing power outages, commonly known as 'dumsor,' in Ghana.

Kwesi Pratt expressed astonishment at a statement made by the energy minister, who claimed that the current dumsor is better than what was experienced during the previous administration.

"I just can't understand what is happening. It is extremely difficult to understand, especially when you listen to people in governance and those who have the responsibility in dealing with the problem," Pratt remarked on Good Morning Ghana.

He then questioned the rationale behind such a comparison, stating, "My goodness, is this where we have come to? That we voted for a government to come and give us better dumsor?"

He expressed dismay at what he perceived as a lack of accountability and empathy from leaders towards the plights of the Ghanaian people.

"How can any dumsor be better? Incredible! But this is how our leaders are talking to us; total disrespect. They are talking to us like we are their grandchildren," Pratt exclaimed.
