NEW DELHI: Huawei recently launched its flagship smartphone Mate 20 Pro with triple rear camera setup. However, the company has already started working on its next generation Mate 30 Pro. A new leak has now surfaced online suggesting that the company is planning to introduce five rear cameras in the Huawei Mate 30 Pro.

Spotted by Mobielkopen, Huawei has filed a new patent which shows a case with a larger hole in the rear panel. This hints that the company might have a penta camera setup just like the Nokia 9 which is expected to launch in the next couple of months. Looking at the case it is expected that the cameras will be placed in vertical order. company is also expected to use Sony IMX607 sensor. The smartphone is expected to come with a dew drop notch screen.

The
Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes with a triple rear camera setup with 40-megapixel wide angle sensor (f/1.8 aperture), a 20-megapixel ultra wide sensor and (f/2.2 aperture), and an 8-megapixel sensor which is 3X telephoto lens. So, it is expected that the Mate 30 Pro will also come with a similar kind of lens. However, it might be possible that the company might include a monochrome lens which went missing in the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

Recently, Huawei has announced the launch of its latest mid-range smartphone in India. The company has started sending out invites for the launch event
Huawei Y9 2019. The company has scheduled an event for 7 January where it will unveil the device.

The smartphone will be powered by company’s own octa-core Kirin 710 processor and runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system topped with company’s own EMUI 8.1. The handset will come with a dual camera setup on both front and rear end.
