Renowned Ghanaian broadcaster Kwami Sefa Kayi has reacted to a viral video clip in which he can be seen hosting the Ghana Music Awards in 2002, some two decades ago.

In the video, actress Juliet Asante is introduced as the co-host of the event by the Peace FM's Kokrokoo presenter, who was spotted wearing a black kaftan attire.

The clip, which GTV posted as a #throwback video on its Facebook page last week, has since been shared widely on social media, with several Ghanaians praising the well-known broadcaster for his successful journey.

Sefa Kayi's bald head, however, has become a target of teasing from some viewers who have watched the clip. They wondered how Kwami landed a bald head in the early 2000s.

But, in response to the video, Chairman General, as he is affectionately called, said that watching the over twenty-year-old clip brings back many memories, he said it makes him extremely humble.

"For me, I am humbled by it," he said on the Kokrokoo program on Peace FM.

Kwami continued by saying that it is proof of how far he has advanced in his field.

"Those of you sending me the Ghana Music Awards clip from about 20 something years ago, I want to tell you that I'm already aware of what you've started, and I want to tell you that I'm humbled by it; it just tells you that we've come a long way," he remarked amidst laughing.

In response to people making fun of him for having a bald head, Sefa Kayi disclosed that he started losing his hair when he was 28 years old.

"I started losing my hair at 28," he revealed, adding that by the time he was 31 years old, he had completely lost all of it.

The legendary journalist, who was born on June 20, 1970, has turned 53 years old.
