Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Joe Carr says that the decision by his former club to sign Razak Abalora is the right call.

A lot of eye brows was raised on Tuesday when Kotoko announced the signing of Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Abalora.

Already club captain Felix Annan has been benched by Kwame Baah who was supposed to be the second choice goalkeeper.

As it stands, Kotoko have four goalkeepers on their books with  Kwame Baah, Felix Annan and youngster Danlad Ibrahim and have now added Abalora to the list of goalkeepers.

Speaking in an interview with Ashh FM, Joe Carr says there is nothing wrong with Kotoko have the creme de la creme of goalkeepers at their disposal.

"During my time I use to advice all the goalkeepers equally to help them build their confidence

Every player pray before going for a football match and I don't believe the players will pray against themselves"

"In football there is nothing like a super goalkeeper it all depends on the player's training

I don't agree with people saying it was unnecessary buying Abalora while Kotoko has Felix Annan and Kwame Baah"

"I will not have difficulties in selecting the three goalkeeper to keep a post in a match day

Supporters have a different way of watching their matches and we goalkeepers trainers also have a different way of watching the games" he added.
