Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo says that he does not care whether any player is a local player or otherwise when deciding his first eleven.

The German based coach handed call ups to just two local players with Hearts of Oak's Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Bechem United's Augustine Okrah.

Afriyie Barnieh has  10 goals in all competitions whiles Okrah has 13 league goals for Bechem United in the league.

A total of 33 players where handed an invitation with only  two  players from the local league  handed an invitation whiles all the others are foreign based.

According to the Black Stars coach, he watches the Ghana Premier League and these are the two players who caught his eye.

Speaking ahead of the game at the press conference on Tuesday evening, Addo revealed that he is ready to use the local players and where one is coming from does not play any role in getting a chance and its only performance.

"I have been watching some games. The two players called made good impressions. It's important to see them live in training and in the end, once we're on the pitch, I don't care about who is local and who is not. The performance will decide," Addo said during a pre-match press conference on Tuesday.

The Black Stars will host Madagascar at the Cape Coast Stadium on 1st June,2022 before taking on Central African Republic on the 5th June,2022.

After which they will travel to Japan to partake in the Kirin Cup where they will play in a four nation tournament with  Japan, Chile and Tunisia as part of the build up to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in November.
