Ghanaian musician Dennis Nana Dwamena, known in showbiz as KIDI, has said he will not comment on the current debate on homosexuality in order not to offend anyone.

According to him, he is an artiste desiring to work with different kinds of people to advance his music career, and, has, therefore, decided not to comment on how people want to live their lives.

The ‘Odo’ hit singer recently embarked on a tour to the United Kingdom as part of his music career.

When asked by Prince Benjamin, host of Class Drive on Class 91.3FM to give his opinion on a recent comment by UK Prime Minister, Theresa May to the effect that her country is ready to help its former colonies in Africa, including Ghana, abolish anti-gay laws, Kidi said: “Usually I have an opinion about everything except homosexuality.

“I usually have thoughts and options on issues but homosexuality is such a sensitive topic that I have decided for myself that I am never going to have a say in that. People should do whatever they want to do with their lives, I don’t want to be part of it.”

He added: “If you asked this question about 5 to ten years ago, the answer would have been 'No', but now, unfortunately, as much as we don’t want, the world is evolving, things are changing and everybody is thinking wide and outside the box. As an artiste, I have a lot of things to do and I wouldn’t like to step on toes.”
