Former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association(GFA), Ibrahim Saanie Daara has expressed his disgust at media personnel who go to the press with whatever they hear without doing any due diligence.

He says that most media personnel end up destroying the hard earned reputation because they fail to  do the proper checks before going to press with stories.

His admonition comes in the wake of his exoneration from the ignominy of the well publicized number 12 documentary which was done by Anas Aremeyaw Anas in 2008.

"Sometimes I feel bad and sorry for most of the media people who when they hear something they fail to do due diligent about the story but come out to destroy your image. "he told Light FM

The former BBC journalist was the Communications Director until an investigative documentary from Anas Aremeyaw Anas purported to incriminate him in a bribery scandal but after four years the revered journalist has been exonerated of any wrong doing.

According to Tiger Eye P.I, Sannie Daara received money to help then Hearts of Oak captain Thomas Abbey get a place in the CHAN team but from their own video recording the venerable Sannie Daara only told them to tell their player to work hard and he will be rewarded with a call up.

The Ethics Committee after four years, have exonerated the former Ghana FA Communications Director of any wrong doing.
