Veteran Sports broadcaster and senior law lecturer at the Ghana School of Law, Moses Foh-Amoaning says David Duncan should have been made the Black Stars coach instead of being just an assistant.

According to the lawyer, David Duncan has all the necessary rudiments to be the main coach as he is an all rounder but is happy C.K Akonnor can rely on someone like David Duncan.

The former Hearts of Oak, Kotoko coach was appointed as an assistant coach to C.K Akonnor in February this year after the former took over from Kwasi Appiah in January.

Moses Foh-Amoaning is of the opinion that having experienced tactical brain like Duncan will be of essence to the head coach.

"I am happy he has David Duncan with him. He is all rounded as he understands the technical aspect of the game and he has played too," he told Nhyira FM Power Sports.

"I even feel David Duncan should have been the head coach but it is fine he is assistant."

David Duncan has coached all the big clubs in Ghana such as Great Olympics, Sekondi Hasaacas, AshantiGold SC, Asante Kotoko SC, Hearts of Oak and also had a stint with South African side Free State Stars

He has in the past coached the Ghana U-17 and U-20 sides.
