Aduana Stars legend and former skipper Godfred Saka has broken his silence on the actual reasons why he left the Dormaa based club to join Karela United.
The veteran defender surprised many Ghanaian when he ended his eight years stint with Aduana stars in 2017 to join the Anyinase based club.
But speaking for the first time since his move to the then newly promoted side, the 31-year old Ghanaian international disclosed that he needed a new challenge.
"I played actively for the club since I joined them but I realized there was no challenge so I decided to move on for a new challenge", Saka said in a YouTube interview with Don Summer.
"I needed to face challenges elsewhere and that's why I joined Karela United" he added.
Godfred Saka also confirmed that many clubs were in for his services prior to his exit from Aduana Stars but opted to sign for the Nzema based club as he was comfortable with the terms and condition available.
