Ghana goalkeeper Razak Brimah has vehemently denied rumours that he was ousted by Spanish side FC Córdoba.

Speaking to SportsworldGhana.com, the 30 year old explained that he left the club after his two-year contract with them came to an end.

He further elaborated that he left the team because he was not happy with the turn of certain events in the team.

“Cordoba didn’t sack me”, he said, adding that, “I signed a two year deal with them and when my contract expired I decided to leave the club because I wasn’t okay with certain things that were happening there,”

Razak was recently a subject of public chastisement after he sent out an audio in which he made unsavory comments regarding criticisms he had been receiving from Ghanaians concerning his goalkeeping skills.

He was part of the Ghana team that won silver at the 2015 AFCON.
