The Deputy Chief of Staff has rubbished claims by Kennedy Agyapong that he is a violent politician.

Jonny Osei Kofi was responding to claims made by the Assin North Member of Parliament when he addressed market women, and party sympathizers in the Oforikrom Constituency.

The Deputy Chief of Staff  who would not repeat the claims said that, “I have never been violent nor used same to achieve anything in life since such crude ways has never won anything meaningful.”

The Aspiring Member of Parliament for the Oforikrom Constituency, running on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)  added that, “I have friends in NPP who really know me, if you want to know who I am, you can go and inquire about me. I am not a violent man.”

Jonny Osei Kofi also urged the market women and party faithful who had gathered, to pray for people in authority in the country.

Asking also that the Electoral Commission (EC), the National Security Services and all other stakeholders, hold the peace of Ghana with priority in their hearts, “and not engage in any acts that will destroy the peace enjoyed in the country.”
