Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko player and coach Abdul Karim Zito says he was swept off his feet by newly appointed Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of  Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah during the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Presidential elections.

He says his manifesto presentation during the GFA election made him see right away that he had in-depth football knowledge.

According to the Dreams FC coach he is not too surprised as the FIFA intermediary is also a lawyer and sees a brighter future with him in charge of Asante Kotoko.

"I discovered his in depth knowledge about football when he presented his manifesto during the GFA presidency elections." he told Kwaku Osei TV on YouTube.

"He being a lawyer speaks volumes."

"I just laughed off when I heard people affiliating him to Hearts of Oak, it is about what you can do, that's what matters" he added.

The 36 year old FIFA intermediary has been appointed as the Kotoko CEO for the next three years and has been charged to make the club a force to reckon with once more in the continent and the world.
