Former Board Member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Ernest Thompson says that he sees no game changer in the current Hearts of Oak set up.

He says after watching Sunday's crunch game against Great Olympics he cannot pin point any game changer in the Hearts of Oak set up unlike in the past when the club had a lot of players who could decide games.

The phobians have been in very good form this season and are currently top of the Ghana Premier League table with 50 points.

Accra Hearts of Oak are poised to end their nearly 12 year wait for a league title with six matches to go.

Speaking in an interview with Oyerepa FM, he says the club must prioritize getting on board game changers who can decided games.

"When you are doing the recruitment you need to also bear in mind that you need one or two players especially within the midfield or the striking aspect of the game who can make a change," he told Kumasi based Oyerepa FM.

"Years back we had Joe Fameye who you know that when the going gets tough he can do something. It's like Asamoah Gyan when he was in form, when Ghana played England, he didn't have a good game but the coach kept him the last minute from nowhere he put a ball in the net and it was one all.

"I am not seeing any, one or two extraordinary players, all the players seem to be on the same level.

"The team is far away from being what it is," he added.
