In their earlier days as Akyeame, a hiplife group made of Okyeame Kwame and Okyeame Quophi now Quophi Okyeame, they gave Ghana and Africa lots of hit tunes and were even the first Ghanaians to fill the Apollo theater in America.

At the lowest point of their career after churning out several it songs, Okyeame Kwame takes us back in time and recounts all the Great moments they shared as a group but in spite of all this, he revealed that they had exhausted all the money they had made as group and they decided to move to America to seek greener pastures and while at that he sold oranges on the streets while his partner Okyeame Quophi focused on video production.

He says Okyeame Quophi came to rescue and asked him to move in with him and advised that he focused on something else either than selling Oranges since it wasn’t befitting for a man of his status.

In this interview, he talks about the formation and collapse of the group Akyeame and life as a solo artiste and being a family man.
