It has been one year already since Asempa FM presenter Kwadwo Asare-Baffour Acheampong popularly known as KABA died but it seems his wife, Valentina Ofori Afriyie, is still in shock.

To mark the first anniversary of the loss of her husband, Valentina, host of Class FM’s Evening news shared a heartbreaking message on social media.

Taking to her Facebook account, Valentina stated that she was yet to recover from the sudden demise of KABA.

"18th November 2017 my life changed. Words have failed me. I can only manage to say GOD KEEP YOU. I LOVE AND MISS U," she wrote.

Valentina's post has drawn much pity from social media users with many sympathising with the widow.

KABA was confirmed dead at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra on Saturday, November 18, 2017.

Until his sudden death, he was the host of popular late afternoon political talk show, Ekosii Sen on Asempa FM.

KABA joined the Multimedia Group in August 2009 as a broadcast journalist starting as host of news bulletin ‘Asempa Today’.

He also hosted the weekly current affairs programme ‘Kukurantumi’ on Saturday morning.

Adjudged the Best Talk Show Host in the 2017 edition of the Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards, he had established himself as one of the topmost political talkshow hosts on radio before his sudden demise.

His steady rise even led to talks at the time of his death that a colleague had killed him.

Apart from Asempa FM, he also had stints as host of shows on other Multimedia platforms including 'Badwam’on Adom TV and ‘Dwaso Nsem’ on Adom FM.

He was 37 years at the time of his death and left behind a little daughter.
