Owner of Berekum Chelsea Obed Nana Kwame Nketia, has thrown his support behind President Kwesi Nyantakyi should the latter "decide to contest" the Ghana FA election again.

Kwame Nketiah beleives in the presence of Kwesi Nyantakyi, no one else is fit to take up the mantle for the country's highest football administration job.

He said he reveres President Kwesi Nyantakyi and supports him like of a "political party" and challenge those who believe can do better to come forward when the election is due.

"We can share our views about football administration in the country, but don't call on somebody to step down as if you can do better, he said in an interview with Nhyira FM.

"Those who think can do the job better should  can show their faces and contest him when the election time is due.

"For me, my support for Kwesi Nyantakyi  is akin to that of a political party."

The Gfa  has come under severe criticism from some Ghanaians, saying the ineffectiveness of  the FA Capo has caused  the delay of the 2017/18 league.

Many have blamed  the GFA under his administration for the myriad of problems confronting  the domestic league, which has led to low patronage of matches.

However,Kwame Nketiah argues that the blame on the delay of the league should rather be carried to the door steps of Accra Great Olympics, who placed court injunction on the league.

According to him there is "nothing wrong" in Nyantaky's administration, which he said has done well for Ghana football.

"Kwesi has done well for Ghana football and should he  decide to contest, I will vote for him," he said, adding that "if he backs off, then my vote will go to his deputy George Afryie."
