Former Asante Kotoko striker, Stephen Manu affectionately called B.A says he habours  hopes of coaching Asante Kotoko in future.

The former striker is currently undergoing the GFA's license D coaching course that is underway in Kumasi.

Stephen Manu has worked with the Asante Kotoko youth team in the past but now hopes it will be the main team in future.

"I want to coach Asante Kotoko in the future if I finish my coaching course" Stephen told Akakpo Agodji of Ashh Fm.

"I think participating in the GFA license D course has helped me seen more things which is different from playing football and if you are footballer you need to learn the coaching course to add it to your football and it helps a lot"

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) License "D" Coaching Course opened some few weeks ago in Kumasi with thirty-seven (37) potential coaches from various districts in the Ashanti Region.

GFA Director of Coaching Education, Professor Joseph Mintah and other Instructors and Coach Educators like Maxwell Konadu, Paa Kwesi Fabin ,Frimpong Manso among others led the training.

The License D Coaching course is to equip participants on the development of youth footballers, methods of coaching, understanding coaching, administration of first aid and safety among others.
