Manchester City's new winger, Jeremy Doku, has expressed his desire to continue improving and become a fan favorite at the club.

The 21-year-old winger has made a strong start at the Etihad Stadium, making two appearances and scoring his first goal in his second game against West Ham United.

Doku acknowledged the differences in playing style between Manchester City and his former club and is keen to adapt and establish himself as a key player in the team.

"From the last game [Fulham] I learned that you have to be calm. The massive thing is to not lose the ball - I can still improve on that. It’s about being calm on the ball and having confidence and I want to keep improving on that but today was a success."

“It’s a pleasure [playing with new teammates]. I like to play with them of course. On TV they are very good but in real life they are even better.”

He emphasized the importance of composure and confidence on the ball and expressed his eagerness to continue working on these aspects of his game.

He also praised his new teammates, highlighting their quality on and off the pitch, and is excited to play alongside them.

Doku joined the treble-winners from French side Stade Rennes as a replacement for Riyad Mahrez and has hit the ground running with his performance.
