Abednego Tetteh, the top goal scorer of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season, has officially announced his return to Bibiani Gold Stars but reveals that he was heading to Libya before the Ghanaian side came calling.
Tetteh's initial attempt to pursue his football career in Libya encountered unforeseen challenges, leading to his recall by Bibiani Gold Stars.
The striker, who had a successful stint with the Miners in the previous season, scoring 18 goals, confirmed the development during an interview with Happy FM.
"I was heading to a club in Libya, and Bibiani chiefs asked me to return home. Whatever the club in Libya said they will pay, they are willing to pay."
Despite the setback in his Libya move, Tetteh expressed readiness to contribute to Bibiani Gold Stars' success under the guidance of their new coach, Frimpong Manso.
