The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has vowed to ensure that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) pays for the way it treats its own people.

According to him, the party risks being thrown out of power if it continues acting in a way that is detrimental to its own members.

He is reported to have vowed to teach the party a lesson when it begins processes for its “People’s Assembly”, and need media coverage, which he has always offered subsidiaries of Kencity Media for.

Speaking on Net2 TV’s The Dialogue, he disclosed that there is a deliberate scheme to starve his businesses of funds.

This, he went on to say, was because some people claim he has presidential ambitions and such they wish to sabotage him.

Describing the assertion as funny, he stated that he will not hesitate to throw out the party if they come knocking on his doors.

He explained that it was because the party is now resorting to other media companies, and therefore neglecting his.

“I know they will start things…. what’s the name of that thing …people’s assembly… yes. I am watching to see if they will invite us to cover live. They will see. The Adverts me I know. I know. Today they have their preferred radio stations they have been working with. I am waiting for them. 2020, I will walk them out.

I am saying I will personally walk them out. One deputy minister who they spoke to said ‘as for you people Ken will look after you,’ look at that” Ken said in anger.

Kennedy Agyapong has, in the past, said NPP would lose the yet-to-be-held elections, if it continues to neglect the grassroots that worked tirelessly to secure the win for the party.
