Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah says that he will never work for fierce rivals Accra Hearts of Oak when his tenure at Asante Kotoko expires.

The young football administrator took over the Asante Kotoko job in October last year and has since done a yeoman's job for the club in the area of commercialization and sponsorship.

He says that he can work for any other team when he leaves his role at Kotoko but not for Accra Hearts of Oak.

The 38 year old football administrator has in the past been accused of being an ardent Accra Hearts of Oak supporter even before he took over the Kotoko job.

Speaking in an interview on Accra based Starr FM, he stated emphatically that the Hearts of Oak job is out of bounds for him.

“After delivering my mandate at Asante Kotoko, if Great Olympics comes for my services I’ll surely do a professional job there but I’ll never go to Hearts of Oak” Amponsah told Nana Aba Anamoah on StarrChat.

“It is impossible to work for Kotoko’s rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak, I don’t think it will ever happen” he concluded.

Under his watch Asante Kotoko finished as runners up to league winners Hearts of Oak and eliminated from the MTN FA Cup semi final stage.
