Former Black Stars midfielder Derrick Boateng says that he wants to help the upcoming generation with  his  skills as a football scout.

Derrick  Boateng played for Ghana at the U-20 level and was part of the Ghana team that finished second to Saviola inspired Argentina team that won the 2001 youth World Cup.

He went on to play for the Black Stars and was part of the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup and also played at several AFCON tournaments.

The midfielder told Hot FM that he has hanged his boots but wants to help the coming generation that's why he is working as a scout with the Right to Dream Academy.

“ I believe it’s time, I have hanged up my boots and I wish to help those coming up that’s why am now a scout at Right To Dream” he stated.

Derrick Boateng played for the likes of Fulham, Getafe, Eibar, Rayo Vallecano, Dnipro among others.
