Mother of the late Michael Kofi Asiamah aka Kekeli, Cordelia Ama Selormey has called on the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to put in the same efforts he is putting in to raise $25million for the Black Stars in raising funds to refurbish the rotten Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

She says our hospitals have turned into death traps due to the lack of the needed tools and equipment and facilities to treat patients.

This follows the narration of the passing away of 13 year old boy Michael Kofi Asiamah aka Kekeli who went to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital to undergo brain tumor surgery but passed on.

Speaking in an interview on Starr FM's Morning Show, about what they went through at the hospital, mother of the late Kekeli, Cordelia Ama Selormey has blamed the system for his son's demise as the doctors and staff at the facility did their utmost best to save the life of his son but the system failed them.

"If you can raise $25million for the Black Stars by calling CEO from across the country why can't you do same to refurbish Korle Bu Teaching Hospital"

"That is where we go when we are sick we cannot go there and just die like that they must fix it now now and we are not going to relent"

"We're living by the grace of God....I'm not afraid of anybody from what I have seen on April 9th" the angry grief stricken mother said.

She says the facility lacks a lot of basic tools and equipment needed to work at the hospital resulting in the death of her son.

According to the livid mother the whole Korle Bu Teaching Hospital has four ICU beds which is woefully inadequate.
