Actress Lydia Forson has promised she would not change her stance on seeking accountability from successive governments for the citizenry.

There is a penchant for advocates and activists to be silenced because of the benefits they are opened to depending on the government in power.

Examples can be drawn from some activists on social media who were vociferous during the reign of the National Democratic Congress but have lost their voice since the NPP took over the governance of the country.

But Lydia Forson says her stance will never change because she puts Ghana first and not any political party.

Her tweet read “I will continue to be consistent in my demands for a better Ghana regardless of who is in power. My voice doesn’t change depending on who’s in government – the tune will always be the same. Because for me it’s Ghana first”.
