Politician and founder of the Liberal Party of Ghana(LPG), Percival Kofi Akpaloo has promised a healthy bonus for players and coach of Accra Hearts of Oak ahead of their CAF Champions League clash against Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club.

The Ghana Premier League champions will this weekend play against WAC of Morocco in the first leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary state.

Hearts have been seriously preparing for the game this weekend and played a preparatory game last weekend beating lower tier side Dzida FC 6-1.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi based OTEC FM, the politician promised to pay each Hearts player GHc1,000 if they beat the north African side with Ghc2,000 going to the coach.

"I will give every Hearts of Oak player ¢1,000 and ¢2,000 to the coach should they beat WAC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday," Mr. Kofi Akpaloo told Kumasi based OTEC FM

"So far as Hearts is a Ghanaian team, it's my prayer they progress to the next stage of the competition. They should go all out with the Phobian spirit as they did to win the Ghana Premier league" He added
