The family of the late partner of ace investigative journalist, Hussein-Suale has revealed that he was threatened severally by an unknown person days before he was shot dead yesterday.

Hussein-Suale was shot three times, twice in the chest and another in the neck late Wednesday night while driving home by unidentified men riding a motorbike.

He is the first journalist in the country to be killed this year.

The news of his death have left many devastated with several people pointing accusing fingers at Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Ken Agyapong.

His accusers including ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, claim that Ken Agyapong blew the cover of the late journalist and also threatened him.

But Ken Agyapong has come out to debunk the claims insisting that he has no time to plot the death of the Suale-Husein.

“What wrong has he committed against me that will cause me, Ken Agyapong, to plot the death of that boy? I don’t have that time…,” he quizzed.

The family of the late journalist has however revealed that he was threatened by an unknown person days before he was killed.

“Somebody actually threatened him but because of the investigations we will hold on…actually somebody threatened him and said he will hire somebody to kill him…,” a family member who spoke on condition of anonymity said.

The family source also mentioned that the assailants patrolled their neighbourhood for hours before finally committing the heinous crime.
