Dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has indicated that he plans to deploy Anas Aremeyaw Anas to investigate the Ghana music industry.

According to him, he will deploy the services of the award-winning investigative journalist when he makes “good money”.

Shatta Wale’s comment come on the back of a recent exposé by Anas which exposed rot and corruption in Ghana football.

The investigative piece, titled “Number 12”, led to the implication of over 77 referees and football officials, including Ghana Football Association president, Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Many have called on Anas to delve next into the entertainment industry, with actress Nana Ama McBrown leading the charge.

However, self-acclaimed dancehall king Shatta Wale has added his voice to the calls, insisting he plans on deploying the services of Anas to investigate the music industry.

In a Facebook post, the “Gringo” hit maker said the all upcoming artistes should pray for him to make “good money” in order to investigate the industry.

Shatta Wale wrote: "If I make good money I will try and let Anas investigate this music industry for me waa... Future artist pray for Daddy, OK."

Anas is noted for his wide range of investigative pieces which have helped uncover corruption in various fields.
