Ghanaian actor Kwaku Manu has said that its unfortunate leaders in Ghana perceive the educated as the only class of people needed to develop a nation.

According to Kwaku Manu, instead of being neutral in planning the development of the nation, politicians only limit their decisions to those with certificates.

He emphasized that even in the art industry, especially in the movie field, government has turned a deaf ear to their wishes just because they have been branded as illiterates.

He continued to say that movies can play a pivotal role in the development of Ghana, if truly the government pays critical attention and put good measures in place.

Bob Siga, however, advised the government to involve the arts industry since many nations have achieved greatness through movies.
