“Commando” hitmaker, King Promise born Gregory Bortey Newman has revealed that he’s concerned about social issues that’s why he’s quietly doing his bit behind the scenes to help his community.

He remarked “Of course I’m bothered about social issues and I try my best to also do things in the community in the best way possible.

“I have projects that I have done in Nungua and other places but I’m not the type who will make it public after doing these things,” he said on the Kastle Drive show.

Speaking on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM with Amansan Krakye monitored by MyNewsGh.com, King Promise revealed that he has done projects to contribute his quota in the country just that he’s not loud about such initiatives.

He continued “When I do my projects I do it quietly and obviously I’m a Ghanaian so I wish everything goes on smoothly and I also wish for a better Ghana for all of us.

“So it’s not like I don’t care I’m doing my own behind the scenes just that I’m not loud about it and I’m that kind of person so I’m doing my part and no need to worry,” he ended on Kastle FM.
