I'm glad to have finally made my debut for Ghana - Tariq Fosu

England born Tariq Fosu says he is delighted to have finally made his International debut for Ghana after a long wait.
The Brentford forward played his first game for Ghana last month in a friendly triumph defeat against Mali in Turkey.
He scored his first goal for Ghana in the 5-1 friendly win over Qatar in Turkey and impressed as Ghana beat Sudan two nil in Cape Coast.
Fosu should have made his Ghana debut a lot earlier than he actually did as he was part of the squad announced by Ghana to have played Sudan in the AFCON 2021 qualifier in March but the game was rescheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"I think it was great to get the chance to play for Ghana. My debut delayed a bit because of COVID-19, but when the call came for me to travel to Turkey to play in the International friendly, I was very happy," he told the Ghana FA website.
"It came in quite late, but when the coach called me to come, I said I was very happy to come and I spoke to him before and I’m happy that he gave me the chance to perform and show my qualities," he added.
