Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly preparing an €80 million bid to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United in the upcoming January transfer window.
Despite their difficult campaign this season, having lost nine out of 12 games played, Pep Guardiola is keen to strengthen his squad, and the Ghanaian forward is at the top of his wish list.
The 24-year-old is seen as a key target to bolster City's attacking options, according to Spanish publication Fichajes.
Kudus, who recently returned from a five-game ban, scored in West Ham's 1-1 draw against Brighton last Saturday. Since his excellent debut season with the Hammers, the Ghana international has continued to impress, scoring three goals in 14 appearances this term.
The attacking midfielder has caught the eye of several top clubs, including Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Chelsea, but Manchester City now appears to be in pole position to secure his services.
Given Kudus' rise and potential, a move to Manchester City would be a significant step in his career.
