Asante Kotoko defender Samuel Appiah has not seen much action since joining the porcupine warriors from Medeama at the beginning of the season.

Despite that the defender says that he is happy at Asante Kotoko and hopes that he will get more starts in future.

He says that since his move from Medeama he has been well treated at Asante Kotoko by the technical team, his fellow players and staff of the club.

Appiah made only his second start of the season against Real Tamale United(RTU) in the whole season.

"It's a big moment for me. I'm happy for that and I waited a lot for it. It's a dream for me to play again in the League and start the game," he told kickgh.com

"I'm so happy here. Everyone has helped me, my teammates, the staff and I'm so proud for the team and so happy to be here."

“It’s a short career as it is, you want to play as much as you can, I’ll be working hard in training and when I do get my chance I need to try and take them in games."

“If I keep doing that then hopefully the manager gives me the nod and maybe gives me more of a starting spot, ” he concluded.

The former cornerstone defender joined Medeama in 2018 after impressing at Division One League side Phar Rangers.

Appiah made 22 appearances for the mauve and yellows last season.
