Red-hot Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil has extended his stay with Belgium Jupiler Pro League side KRC Genk.

The winger has been in great form for his side this season after playing on loan last season with  Turkish side Ankaragucu.

His contract was due to expire at the end of the current campaign but he has extended it for the next four years.

The 24-year-old  winger has been in good form for his side this season as he has scored four goals and provided two assists in eight matches.

Paintsil played for local Ghanaian club Tema Youth before going on loan to Ferencvaros in for one season in the 2017/2018 season.

The Hungarian club did not take up the option to buy him despite playing well and scoring lots of goals.

He joined Genk in 2018 and helped them win the Belgium Jupiler Pro League and the Super Cup.
