Ghanaian forward Inaki Williams delivered a stellar performance on Wednesday evening, scoring twice to lead Athletic Club to a 2-0 triumph over Alexander Djiku's Fenerbahce in a decisive Europa League encounter.

Williams wasted no time making an impact, seizing on a defensive error in the fifth minute to open the scoring.

Pouncing on a misplaced pass from the Fenerbahce backline, the forward calmly slotted the ball past the goalkeeper, giving Athletic Club an early lead.

Just before halftime, Williams doubled the advantage with a sensational strike. After collecting the ball inside the penalty area, he unleashed a powerful shot that cannoned off the crossbar and into the net, leaving Fenerbahce's goalkeeper, Dominik Livakovic, helpless.

Williams' dynamic performance throughout the game showcased his pace, work ethic, and sharp finishing.

Substituted in the 85th minute for Mikel Vesga, the Ghanaian had already done enough to secure the win and cement his side’s position atop the Europa League standings.

This outstanding display not only highlighted Williams’ quality but also underscored his importance to Athletic Club’s European campaign.
