Ghanaian striker Inaki Williams was on target as Athletic Bilbao defeated Cadiz 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in the Spanish La Liga for his second goal of the season.

Inaki Williams started the match at the San Mamés Barria and completed the full 90 minutes, while his brother Nico Williams was unavailable due to injury.

Before the game, the head-to-head record between the two teams stood at four wins for Athletic Club, two wins for Cadiz, and no draws.

Throughout the game, the home side maintained more possession.

Gorka Guruzeta broke the deadlock in the 66th minute with a close-range header to the bottom left corner. Óscar De Marcos provided the assist with a well-placed cross.

Just two minutes later, Asier Villalibre extended Athletic Club's lead with another close-range header, this time finding the bottom right corner.

Inaki Williams had an opportunity to make it 3-0 in the 77th minute, but his attempt was saved.

The Ghanaian striker eventually found the back of the net in the 90th minute with a right-footed shot from the left side of the six-yard box, assisted by Asier Villalibre's headed pass.

Athletic Bilbao will face Deportivo Alaves in their upcoming league fixture.
